About WADPA

At WADPA dance school, we are all about dancing and encouraging the development of children. We offer classes that range from pre-school to young adult in a safe and supportive environment. We are proud of the family-like environment at WADPA, encouraging everyone to follow their passion. We teach our classes with the aim to build up co-ordination, fitness, sense of rhythm, musicality and self-expression skills, but also life skills such as commitment and teamwork.

All classes at Wadpa dance school in Whangarei are designed to enable every young person to achieve a goal. We encourage children from 5 years onwards to do examinations and allow them to work towards the major programme of study that develops technique and artistry to the very highest level.

All Wadpa students are encouraged to sit for exams once they are ready. Competition work is available if interested in solo performances. Private lessons are required and students must be suitable for these exams. Wadpa has brought up several successful international dancers, that we are proud to see performing around the world.

We finish every year with a theatrical production performed in the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre, Forum North. Holly and the rest of her team at Wadpa will ensure that every child will enjoy the performance.
